  Hello, I inform you that the problem has been solved, you just have to update the addon to the latest version (Check your orderpage, you will find all the files and the new documentation). In any case it would have been good to contact me, I would have provided you with the whole library in a short time, but I understand your frustration and I apologize for the inconvenience.

  Now the addon no longer has problems downloading materials as it happened for some time for some users 👍 I hope this news is useful for you.

  The plugin per se is doubtless good, but the download speed around 50kB/s in 2022 is utterly unacceptable for such a large content pack. Maybe invest in AWS or some off-the-shelf cloud service for blender users around the globe?

  You are absolutely right! This experience not very good for some users, especially for those who were away from my server, but now there is the new version of Extreme PBR Nexys, check your Orderpage, you will find all the files and links to the new documentation. All slow download problems from the site are now Fixed with the new "exapack" file distribution

  I'm rating this 5 stars because you really do get tremendous value for the dollar with this add-on, which has everything including the kitchen sink. It is very powerful and I know I have a ways to go before I really can take advantage of all its capabilities.

  BUT I have to say something about the registration, as others have mentioned. I just fired it up after a few months hiatus since the last time I used it...and wouldn't you know I had to go online to their web site to release it from my home PC so that I could use it on my work PC. While it's not the hardest thing in the world to do, it still required several steps, about 6 minutes of time, and a some brain bandwidth and fumbling around trying to remember how to do it. Very annoying. And now that I'm home, I will have to do it again if I want to use it...ugh... I suddenly remembered why I hadn't used this in a while - sometimes I'm just not in the mood to deal with this kind of silliness :)

  First-world problem? Absolutely, but here's the thing - I have literally hundreds of paid add-ons, including all the well-known and popular ones on BM, and NOT ONE OTHER DEVELOPER I can think of carries this level of protection for their product. In fact, the last time I can remember ANY software provider of any kind limiting a license to only 1 device at a time was probably sometime back in the 90s when I wasn't listening to Nirvana or Pearl Jam! So I guess in that respect, this add-on is charmingly quaint :D I think nearly every other developer on the planet has long ago figured out this is not really necessary. I really like this add-on, so I hope Andrew listens to his users and rethinks this policy.

  That out of the way, here are some thoughts about the add-on: Overall, there is a good, solid variety of materials, to cover most of the usual meat-and-potatoes needs, and tilted mainly toward archviz, as far as I can tell. The quality of the materials ranges from very good to fair with some on the mediocre side. None would be mistaken for Substance or Quixel quality, but if you really think about it you don't really need that level of detail for most projects. These are more than good enough for about 80% of my archviz needs. One can really create fantastic-looking scenes with many of these materials. And the ability to quickly tweak and mix textures with so many parameters at your fingertips (without having to open the shader editor) is simply unmatched by anything I've seen so far. The modular mixing approach is very clever.

  The car paint shader is especially excellent with the ability to easily create convincing iridescent color changes as well as flaking and orange peel effects. The water shader is also nice.

  Overall, this add-on more than merits 5 stars - once you're able to actually use it. I highly recommend it though it would be even a better value if the obstacles to its use are finally removed.

  I fully understand your frustrations with the signup process and limitations on cross-device use. I recognize that this can be annoying and a hindrance to the overall experience. I want to give you some great news: I've listened to our users' feedback and made some major improvements to the add-on.

  I am happy to announce that in the new add-on version 4.1.100, in which I have introduced a completely new and simplified distribution system. This will allow you to install and use the addon on different devices without the need to go through the website. We have been testing this new feature for many months on "HDRi Maker" and I am confident it will solve your concerns about it. Also, I've made several improvements to both the add-on itself and its interface. I've also prepared comprehensive new documentation that will walk you through installing and using the new features.

  The registration and updating procedures are horrendously slow and tedious! I switch between computers a lot and I honestly don't bother with this addon anymore. I've spent more time trying to set this up and downloading the updates than using the actual addon.

  Bought this a few years ago, but now with the latest version and support for high res textures, this is so awesome and has sped up my workflow a ton! Easy blending of different materials as well! Definitely worth the price!

  Great time saving piece of software. Unfortunately the new version requires you to download the materials library from the manufacturers servers. This is painfully slow. I think it would possibly be faster if it was a single zip file that you could download in your browser instead of downloading each individual file within Blender.

  Great addon. It helped me a lot. Probably one of the best Addons for Material.
  Thank you for your coming up with this... bought it in 2020, almost never used it... now I got the update.... dived into it and must say it is worth it.

  Amazing add-on and creator is very quick with support and advice. Textures are great with a ton of variety, I am looking forward to future updates!
