  I believe that the developers of this addon will listen to their users and improve their problems.
  I would like the material node to be concise, like before the addon was unraveled to NEXUS. It's a simple way to organize nodes that connect image textures to Blender's default shader. Please don't use the original shaders. We believe that it is easier and more flexible for users to edit materials.

  Extreme PBR allows you to create "Nexus" materials which are complex (And this is the default) or "Simple PBR" materials which are simple materials therefore easily editable manually, just like in previous versions.

  To do this, go to the Extreme PBR Nexus preferences and under the Options tab you will immediately find the Selector on which you can set "Simple PBR" all materials will be simple and easily editable from the node tree.

  I invite you to write to me before giving feedback if you have any doubts, it could be very useful, the addon has a lot of settings and usually they are constantly evolving, they are also documented, just go to the Documentation tab above and find the links to the new documentation on which, among other things, I'm putting a lot of effort into building it in the best possible way, and it is constantly evolving. I invite you to take a look, there is also a video tutorial section.

  In any case I'm sure you will appreciate this answer as it will help you find the setting you mentioned 😊 (at least I hope you will)

  Avoid this like COVID - More like Extreme waiting game. 17 hours to download 5% of the assets and I'm on a fast internet connection. What a waste of time and money. An absolute joke of a product that over complicates things for no reason.

  extremely disappointing. I'm trying to reinstall this after several months of inactivity. Now the creator requires some kind of signup process. I did that. The English on the site is - well - concerning. I created an account, went through the process- but then when using the account information to continue the process for downloading the plugin - I get an error message not acknowledging my account information. The site feels like an Extremely slow wordpress site. I'm losing trust - fast.

  Used to use this all the time but just updated and am being forced to make som bs account and go through bs drm just to access textures this dev collected from other people.

  Why the fuck does every stupid thing think they can force people to make useless accounts for no fucking reason?

  Let's forget about the 8k texture they provide, because the download speed is painfully slow. Maybe there is a chance that you won't face the slow network problem, but you will still face all kinds of registration issues. And if you're using different versions of Blender simultaneously, then good luck, because even more problems are waiting for you.

  I remember simply giving up on downloading the new library when this updated version first came up. After one year or so, the download speed is STILL incredibly slow. Fortunately, I still keep the old "Extreme PBR EVO" version, which you don't have access to anymore, so I just use another add-on to import those textures.

  In conclusion, the library doesn't feel like it's yours even after you have already paid for it. You will definitely find better options when it comes to texturing in Blender.

  I'm sorry for what happened. From August 20th 2023 with the version of Extreme PBR Nexus 4.1.100 the libraries are also distributed on Blendermarket, you should no longer have download problems for the 8k versions and also the other files. Check in your order page, you will find the new updated addon and all the libraries. Usually if there are any problems please contact me, I would provide the desired files without problem. I work as a support every day and would have gladly helped you. If you need help, feel free to contact me, I usually help everyone within a maximum of 24 hours of receiving the message.
