Blender Quickbuttons 6.0 Python-Buttonbar (Use With Windows Only)
YES. Definitely. The Buttons are a (digitally signed) Windows-Executable and will therefore only work under WINDOWS.
If that happens, a Windows-Security Rule applies to your System.
If Blender is been started with "Higher Rights" then "Blender QuickButtons" then Windows will not allow it to send Messages to Blender. So if you have that problem, there are 2 Solutions:
- start Quickbuttons also as ADMINISTRATOR
- Let QuickButtons start Blender, which it will do, if you start it, and there is no open Blender-Window (or there is one and it is busy).
You can change or modify all Buttons that have a number. So you can change or modify nearly all Buttons just by changing some Textfiles.
I recommend that you do not change the "Add Library"-Button, even though this Button can also be modified.
Further, those few Buttons that have no number (green and yellow Buttons) can only be modified by changing the Source-Code (that is included anyway).
Each Layer can have a maximum of 40 Buttons. This includes the green and yellow System-Buttons. Trying to make more Buttons can lead to strange results.
Yes, just delete some of the Text-Files beginning from the Bottom.
The other Buttons will automatically rearrange.
