It helps a lot on complex models with parts inside or outside!

It is easily a must-have in my book for saving selections or working with vertex groups. On the other hand, it is fantastic for satisfying your OCD. 10/10

Zen Sets is one of those addons that should be in everyone’s toolset. This is a powerful addon when used to its full potential. Just take a small amount of time to get to know the feature-set and you will wonder how you could ever use Blender without it.
In the most recent update (at the time of writing this), the new “Join” feature preserves your selection sets and can automatically create selections of all the individual objects when the model is joined into one single object.
This means you can take a Kitbash3D Model with dozens of parts, join it as one object and make an asset out of it. Drag the asset into you Viewport select the individual parts in Zen Sets and then convert those selections (either all parts or selected) back to individual objects with the “Create Objects from Groups” feature. And if those individual objects had their own selection sets, they would still be there to use.
This is a very powerful feature that overcomes the current problem of Collection Assets that do not conform to surfaces or the ground plane when dragged from the Asset Browser and are a pain to unpack into individual objects.

Organizing scene never been fun until i found this add on, especially on big projects much easier to organize & focus on certain parts.

Super handy tool for working with lots of objects or complex meshes! You have to take a little time to set things up, but once you get it going, it becomes so convenient selecting items in your scene for editing, viewing, uv, etc. I like how its independent of how you've organized collections and object hierarchy. Its so handy being able to organize sets at the object and edit levels per mesh. The dev is continually making updates as well, so it keeps getting better and better. As others have said, this really should be something built into base Blender as its so useful and quickly becomes part of your everyday workflow.

While I feel that vertex/edge/face selection management should be part of Blender itself, I'm happy that this add-on exists. The author went the extra mile in making the UI easy and intuitive to use. After 2 hours it already saved me quite some time.
