  A must have for any Storyboard Artist!
  The power of being able to handle multiple cameras and blocking out your shots is outstanding. No matter if you do simple 2D work as a board artist or venture into the hybrid world of 2D / 3D Previz - Animatics, you're well equipped to show and tell your story visually with industry Pro tools. This Add-On should be part of any studio looking to introduce Blender and it's powerful Grease Pencil tools into their working pipeline.
  Kudos to WerwackFX for giving us artists a powerhouse add-on with Robust tools to do our craft...all in the service of serving the story first!

  I don't even know where to begin with my review. long story short is AMAZING. First of all. Storyliner is not just another Blender Addon. Storyliner is a revolutionary new way of telling a story through blender. You need to put aside what you think you know about editing and timelines and building shots in a linear way. You have to allow yourself to look at constructing a story like you were on a set with actors walking around the set figuring out how you want to tell your story through cameras etc. It is in one word AMAZING. It is electrifying and so absolutely freeing i cant even place the amount of excitement i have for this add on into enough words. Not only is the application of it amazing but just the absolute intuitiveness of the UI and how it works with blenders UI is incredible. Julien the developer has put so much thought and time in to this it is unbelievable. Every single action and button and workflow has been thought out so well and laid out so well its beautiful. Every button and action has a tool tip that teaches you right away how it works, I was up and running (im not joking) within 15 mins. I storyboard for film a lot and i have worked on film sets with cinematographers and using Storyliner gave me exactly the same feeling as i did when working on set with the actors. If You love movies but don't have access to cameras or the ability to make something in live action. Storyliner gives you the ability to recreate that feeling digitally. It is an absolute game changer.

  A bit about the developer. Julien is super accessible and ready to help almost immediately. He is very thoughtful and patient and will work with you not only to teach you anything you might be confused about, but he will take time out of his day to really go through things in depth with you and help you trouble shoot. I spent a solid hour talking to him about storyliner and getting a few things sorted out that i was curious about. He is by far the best front facing dev i have ever talked to. He is very knowledgeable, experience and well versed in the needs of film production and you can tell is thinking 10 steps ahead with what he is doing.

  Get this add on as soon as you see this and i highly recommend getting the full version because the price that is set is an incredible deal for what this add on really is. This is not just an add on, it is a full feature piece of software that makes a program like storyboard pro look like a dated clunky app. Once grease pencil gets updated and works better as a drawing app this addon is going to explode so get it now while it's so affordable. You wont be sorry I promise you. For ANY of you out there dreaming of making a film or short or just to pre plan your live action project before shooting THIS is a MUST have addon.

  When i first started learning and using blender for 3dstory and Previz in late 2022, I was using the orginal "ubisoft camera manager" addon made by the same creator. It had helped me immensely in all things camera creation and organization. This new Storyliner addon continues to expand on all things to make the creation of animatics so fun and easy. There are many features that make this all inclusive package so intuitive and enjoyable to use. The non-linear camera list gives me the ability to solve my edit in the regular animation timeline, without ever creating any playblasts! And if you do need to make wip renders of individual shots or the entire sequence, it is literally ONE click... The "stamps" feature makes it so easy to overlay customizable shot information. Makes creating, sorting, and keying cameras really easy. Camera attributes like dof, focal length, compositional guides, etc. are made easier to find and dial. I find myself easily falling into the zone when staging, shooting, and editing with storyliner. I'd easily recommend this addon to all my fellow colleagues!

  Storyliner is an INCREDIBLY feature rich addon. Everything from previs, to 2d boards, to hybrid features, great preset options, really robust export options and the ALMIGHTLY 'Retimer' feature which is worth the price of entry alone. I have used this on many previs and hybrid storyboard projects and I highly recommend it.

  Absolutely amazing for blocking out a scene and keeping a handle on multiple cameras. Incredible way to experiment with staging and timing. And there's so much more. Love it.
