  Possibly the greatest Blender Add-On I've purchased. I use this more than any tool in Blender.

  With a couple of clicks you can turn a basic plane into an entire city (I use GreebleTowns packs). After a bit of playing around it's fairly easy to adjust sizes, density, rotation, etc. There is a bit of randomness to the placement, but that's the nature of scattering hundreds of objects.

  I'm a blender novice (about 6 months into my creation journey) and I've made things I could only dream of creating when I first installed it. I even managed to make a Rendezvous with Rama inspired city with all the buildings on the inside of a cylinder:

  I think this is my most powerful add-on. It's actually more powerful than what's shown in it's demos. The quality of this is so high and I really feel like the price point is more than worth it. I work as a Concept Artist and this has been my biggest time saver. The Biomes are fantastic and the ability to make your own is very impressive also. I highly recommend this!

  I've been using this addon since it was called ScatterPro. For years.
  I'm not very good with Blender and remembering technical, abstract terms, and I'm basically a simpleton to devs. Through months and years, plus countless (painful to the devs) conversations the product has been adapted to meet the needs and UX/UI expectations of people like me. Lots of features have been successfully added and changed to make things much easier and more logical.
  Maybe there's a quirk here and there, but those are most likely owed to my old hardware not being able to catch up with Blender being overly eager to process before the camera culling has finished.

  I, and seemingly some other people, tend to jump in without reading too much - which gets people to miss the freely available biome, for example. But you can get it to work even without being a scientist.

  My main favourites:

  - the integrated biome library system. Not not only an extremely smart business move on many (!) levels, but a treasure trove of possibilities. Blender's thumbnail size limitation has been circumvented by adding PDF portfolios, when you're in doubt. You got all the available libraries and the ones you installed/own are marked and can choose which ones you load with one click. GREAT.

  - being able to build your own biomes from any assets you find online, or your own. So, for creators who refused to cooperate for years, then badly cloned the system and lastly abondoned ship to jump on the AI train, you still have the chance to make the assets you paid for A LOT OF MONEY work in a sensible way.

  - ability to set visibility, display and many more settings before scattering, warnings, tooltips to make it "safe" for your hardware in case you go overboard

  - customizable camera culling

  - the possibility to draw masks outside of Blender's horrible painting system. I do larger scale systems of several square kilometers size, I take my Google maps overlay, load it into Photoshop and then paint separate layers for every scatter layer, export and load them into GS accordingly.

  ...and SO MUCH MORE. This is by far the best working and best thought out tool I've encountered so far. You WILL have to invest some time into learning it, or you just apply biomes as a fast fix. Anyway, absolute recommendation.

  This Plugin is so amazing. So much power, such flexibility, pretty easy to use once you understand how to install it. Couldn't have wished for more !

  Works great once you get the hang of it. The only thing that bugs me is that in the N-panel the object you are scattering on covers up the Menu headers.

  As a long time Vue and C4D/Octane user, transition to Blender wouldn't have been as easy without the GS for my needs. Absolutely fantastic add-on - everything packed in you can easily control pretty much everything. Highly recommended. I only pestered support once for a marginal question I've had and solution was provided in minutes.
