Xolotl Substance Add-On For Blender - Use Substance Files (*.Sbsar) Inside Blender
Does the add-on support multiple renderers?
- Yes, currently it supports Cycles, Eevee and Octane. And more renderers are on the roadmap.. As the development progresses I will update you via social media and Discord.
Does the add-on allow custom workflows?
- Yes, the add-on includes two default presets one that works with cycles/eevee and a second one that works with octane. But you can easily add more presets based on .json files.
- And if there is a significant feedback to add more default presets I will consider adding them so they become available out of the box
Does the add-on support additional maps like emissive and opacity?
- Yes it does, the add-on works with a PBR Metal/Roughness workflow that includes support for additional maps like height, emissive, opacity, anisotropy, etc...
- Additionally the add-on has the flexibility to use custom workflows, so you can use even custom maps if you want. As I mentioned in the previous question.
