Wow! This setup is indeed really quick!

I used the "export layers" script in Krita (also cropped) to export the body parts and with the right naming, It speeds up my workflow tremendously! In Blender I used "Import Images as Planes" with the DOTS/BU option so I don't have to scale the images in Blender individually.

    Love the footcontrol.

Thank you for your comment, and I'm happy to hear that you like the add on. It's great to see how you use the addon in combination with other tools.

Control objects are shapes not bones. You have to animate in object mode instead of pose mode.

Knee and elbow turns backward suddenly while moving foot or hand controls depending of pole position. Limited use maybe.

Foot controls are messy. Alt G, Alt R are not usable, controllers goes back to origin. No toe bending.

Rig must be improved a lot. I could not use it.

Hi altan, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear you are not happy with the Add On. Since the Add On is meant to work for a range of designs, it works in a way that it is easily adjustable and this is why I chose to use objects as controls over using bones. While testing different set ups, I found it more helpful and easier to work that way. I understand that workflows can be different so I will add the option to choose whether you want your controls to be objects or bones in a future update, that way it will also be possible to animate in pose mode. But either way you can animate with it.

As I wrote in my product description, this Add On is an automated process to safe time while rigging 2 legged cut out characters. The rig has a specific construction which is demonstrated in the demo video and this will always be the same one for now. What it does is to adjust itself and connect to your design. But the workflow is non destructive which gives the chance to build on top of this rig and extend or change it to your specific needs.

The pole objects are there to tell the bone chain in which direction to bent. The controllers need to be on the side of the arm in which you want e.g. the elbow to bend. As long as they stay at one side of the arm they will not bend in another direction.

Each foot has 3 controls, one main controller (box shaped) and two circles. The main foot control can be moved and rotated to move the whole foot. The circle in the middle is to bend the heel by rotating the control shape. The last circle is to rotate the foot around the peek. This should give you a variety of options to pose and bend your foot.
If this isn’t working for you like described, you can contact me and I will try to figure out what went wrong. But so far the Add On sets up the rig exactly as shown in my demo video, including all the functions demonstrated.

It is important that the tool gets used as it was meant to and to follow the guide. Otherwise features might get lost or messed up and therefore won’t function properly. The Add On can only do what is shown in the demo video and described in the product description.
