How does the Add On work?
You will import the parts of your character design as Image Planes into Blender and assemble them in the viewport.
Firstly the add on will synchronize the image planes so the bones can later be placed. It will reorganize the objects into collections. In the next step it sets up the bone structure for the character, while placing the bones automatically at the right position in relation to the specific character design. Hence the add on can handle a variety of characters with different proportions and designs.
In the next step you have the opportunity to adjust the bone positions manually, if wanted.
By pressing the next button the relations and controller get added based on the existing bone structure.
After clicking only three buttons the character is ready to animate.
In addition you have the option to add a ready to use slider for grease pencil drawings, which automatically gets parented to the selected bone. So you can easily add features like exchangeable facial expressions or hand shapes to the rig.
The rig can be quickly converted into bendy bones, which are already divided into segments, in order to achieve a softer deformation.
Changing the Controller scaling value in the add on menu will adjust the size of the controller of the current rig.
