Procedural Landscapes

Requirements

  • Supported by Blender 2.9 up to 3.0+.
  • And This Only works for Cycles.


Installation

  • Download the "procedural_landscapes_2.1.0_Beta" file. (or any version that you are installing)
  • Open Blender.
  • Go to Edit/Preferences.
  • Choose the "Add-ons" tab and press the "Install" button.
  • Locate the .zip file and press "Install Add-on".
  • Enable The add-on by checking the checkbox.


Making the landscape:

  • Locate the "Procedural Landscapes" panel in Sidebar or press "N" on the keyboard.
  • You can Import The Landscape by Clicking on the "Import Landscape" Button.
  • To Customizes the landscape, open the "Settings" tab under the add-on's main panel and Customize With The settings provided.


Add-on Panel Settings


 - Desert: Turn on the Desert Landscape and adjust the settings the "Landscape" Tab.

 - Canyon: Turn on the Canyon Landscape and adjust the settings the "Landscape" Tab.

 - Landscape: Customize the landscape however you want with the provided settings.

  • NoiseScale: Change The Noise Texture Scale of the Landscape.
  • Noise Detail: Change How much detail you want on the mountains. Recommend Value: of 15.000 to 16.000 (does Not effect PC performance)
  • TextureBumpStrength: The Strength of the Texture Bump Maps.
  • Noise Location: Change thru the Unrepeated Options of your landscape.

 - Snow: Turn on Snow on your Landscape. You can also enable/disable rocks on the snow.

 - Water: Change how the water looks on your landscape. You can change things like the Ripples, Water Noise Scale, Water Detail, and Strength.

  • Ripples: Add water ripples (value of "1.000" ON/value of "0.000" off)
  • Water Noise Scale: the Scale of the Water ripples.
  • Water Detail: Change the detail of the water ripples. (Value: of 15.000 to 16.000)
  • Strength: The Water Ripples Strength. (recommended value of 0.02)

 - Shore Line: Turn on the shoreline on the Landscape.

  • This is the Trial Version So You Can Explore The Old version, and Test you PC with Cycles. A trial version of a Blender add-on is a limited version of the full add-on that allows users to test out its features before purchasing the full version. This version may have some functionality removed from the full Version.
