Hi I just purchased this item. There is really a great lack of instruction. also When I connect PLX_Smooth to my texture, they are tiled as brick wall... Can I get my money back because it doesn't work for me

is not behaving the way I expected with procedural maps like noise and musgrave its rendering the 3d nature of procedural noises not behaving like tesselation displacement so to speak, how could we make use of procedural maps without baking it to an image texture?

Inside PLX_Texture, use a Vector Math node before the texture node to multiply the vector by [1,1,0]

Maybe I'm doing something wrong (there is only a PNG and some things in the documents tab here on BlenderMarket for instructions) but I think the Blender displacement node looks much better at 1/4 the render times. Here is a comparison I did with 4k textures on a simple 4 vert plane. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WQuzeTReKhHBn5qIIcR7cs7dPhp4SDNa The normal only took 7 seconds, the displacement took 9 seconds, and the PLX took 35 seconds so I know it must be doing a lot of calculations I just don't see the results.

Because your mesh is only 4 vertices and you have not set displacement to true in the material settings, the displacement node only acts as a bump node. To properly use the displacement node, make sure you are using Cycles, set the displacement type to "Displacement Only" in the material settings, and subdivide the mesh many times or use adaptive subdivision. In my benchmarks, the normal took 7.17 seconds, PLX took 13.77 seconds, and true displacement at 1x dicing rate took 29.06 seconds.

If I could give this infinite stars, I would. You are a hero for making this.

Very thorough and useful product. I foresee using this on many future projects. Comes with a good set of instructions which is nice little touch for those of us without big brain.
