  Hey I can't get it to work in 3.6. When I build using "Make Curve" it just says "NoneType Object has no attribute 'data'" I went to the code and found it happens on the "def to_object(component)" function. I think either when you pass in "edges[0]" something goes wrong or something goes wrong when comparing edges[0] to the other values inside the function. Either way I am stuck on how to use the product. I also don't know how to get the "fit edge to curve" to work either. I like the idea tho so 5 stars and good code but yeah, very stuck

  I modeled something similar like the JoJo arrow. However my problem was that the outside was never as smoothly curved outwards as I wanted to. Fixing at this time was impossible for a beginner like me. The model was already done and I didn't want to make it from scratch. So how to curve is perfect getting rid of a very small bulge inwards? Well Nn Edit Mesh By Curve came for the rescue! Select the edge loop (in this case the outer one and one on top) and click make curve, then smooth the curve. Then I just pressed fit to curve (even space) and the magic was happening. The result finally was like I wanted it. A smooth bend outer curve the small imperfection gone. The rest was a question of symmetrize and done. Definitely a recommendation for me! Modelling assisted with curves is such a blast so much simpler. Especially for jewelry. When you wanna get some shapes smooth and perfectly well CURVED. Not funny didn't laugh I know!

  Quality of life addon. (Btw. doesn't work in Blender 3.0 Beta yet)
