Probably the best gift I could receive with this 10th anniversary event !
No need to follow the course to rate it, Kent Trammell never disappoint (never did, and probably never will !)

Very in depth for creating a little cubicity. The End results are pretty nice. Kent is a good teacher. However, I am dissapointed with the asset pack. This cource has been out for over a year, and the asset library has not grown at all. I have checked the CG cookie website, and people have submitted. I've talked to Kent in January, and he has recieved the files. And here we are in March, and the asset library is still v1. Before you buy this course, check the student work by downloading the asset library from the CGCookie website.

I originally got this course because I was hoping to get a big evergrowing asset library to make tiny scenes with. But I was left with just the original assets.

If you are looking to make a cubicity, this is a great course. However, I have recently started Cubic Worlds by CGBoost, and I am getting the results I was hoping for.

    I loved the Cubicity course!!

This is a long, but very informative course starting with basic modeling techniques to create small cute objects. The instructor (Kent) does a great job explaining the process of what he's doing rather than just blasting through the steps, which is a lot more effective to learn from as a beginner. I personally love the style of the buildings and vehicles in this course, and I really wanted to learn how to make them, and now I can do just that. You'll definitely get your moneys worth from this course as a beginner, (Although I do recommend having some Blender experience before taking this course) you'll learn modeling, shader nodes, geometry nodes, some texture painting, asset libraries, and more.

I absolutely recommend this course to beginners with at least a little bit of experience under your belt, and if you have any questions, I've found that the CG Cookie discord is very active with very nice and helpful people. After finishing the course I've gotten a lot of great feedback from it, and had a ton of fun with it.

5/5 stars. Great job to Kent and the CG Cookie team for the fantastic course!

Gotta love cubes (and cookies)! ❤️ 🍪

This approach reminds me a lot of atomic design. You base your design on simple objects and build up the complexity of a city one by one.

Every minute is packed with tips and actions! The instructor explains his intentions and reasoning clearly. He gives himself some space for experiments, although he is very knowledgeable.

For anyone who has difficulties with hearing or understanding oral english, the captions are included.

See you at the end of this cubicitystic journey! 😍
