In my opinion Auto-Rig Pro is the most fully featured rigging system for Blender. It feels more stable and better suited for game development than Rigify. And Lucas, the developer, is incredibly helpful and quick to respond.

The retarget function works flawlessly. The rig itself and the workflow is really hard to get used to. There is too little information in the documentation to really know what each bone is doing and what to do in certain cases. I have a character where i changed a few things in the mesh after it was rigged. How to rerig certain bones without loosing all the weight paint changes already made? When locking up the vertex groups and bind again, everything i locked gets overwritten no matter what and i have to start over again. So not very user friendly if you plan on making changes on the character itself and dont want to rig and weight it all over again. I really dont know for what i spent this much money. Rigify does a way better job at auto weighting than auto rig pro. I had problems rigging fingers as well cause recalculating the bone roll has no effect, hence the rigged fingers are not bending straight instead they all are a few degrees out of place. I only have one year of experience though, so im pretty new to rigging. But i dont really see the benefit of this addon at the moment. Rigify is free and does a better job at autorigging in my case. Autorig pro is not that intuitive to use and to work with. All the bones and layers make it hard to understand whats going on and i got lost and frustrated really quick. And it does a really terrible job at auto weighting faces. Eyelids and mouth and jaws had to be weighted by hand everytime i used the addon. Especially when the character doesnt have a standard human face.

It's been four years since I purchased this. If you're looking to create character animations efficiently, I highly recommend this add-on. The rigging process is incredibly simple and will save you a lot of time. There are no complicated steps, but if you ever get stuck, feel free to contact their support. They are quick to respond and very helpful!

I think it would be nice.
I thought that the Mixamo key frame would work well.
By the way, can I ask you a favor? I can't open the microphone modeling link, can I get it?
It's just been a while since I started character modeling and animation, and I don't really know how to do basic modeling for this program.
I'd like to refer to it.

Working great here. Re-maping works good. Was able to take a meta rig, bring it in, do a simple animation, retarget back to meta rig, and send it back to unity. Looking forward to learning doing more projects with this. Thank you!

Hands down my most used Blender addon. I discovered it a few years ago and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say I use it every single day.
Whether it's just simply rigging, using the advanced animation tools, exporting to game engines or (my personal favourite) the best motion capture tools available in Blender, this addon takes so many of my technical and tedious tasks and turns them into a few button clicks.

It is very hard to get fingers proberly rigged (and yes, I have investigated a lot). There are solutions for fingers which have negative impact on other aspects of the rigged model.

I purchased this "Must-Have" addon long time ago and just recently needed to use it to quickly rig a character that I modeled and use it in my UE5 game and what an experience! the dev actually added UE5 Manny-Quinn option that make the whole process of rigging in blender> setting up in UE5 takes <3mins!

Spine IK bug when Switch. It can't really be used at all
Overall the rig is good but not very flexible.
The Export system is considered very good.

Please send a bug report message if you found a problem with the Spline IK switch. I have just checked it again locally, it worked fine, then I assume something specific must be occurring with your rig.
