Antique Floor Globes

by Ed Ackerman in Models

Description:

This is a model of an Antique Floor Globe.  It is made from a walnut base, bronze adjusting ring, and cardboard globe. Two versions of the globe are included in the file.  A well-worn and used globe and one that is new.  Either one would look good in a contemporary or period scene.  The models are of sufficient detail that they render well in close-up.

Usage:

The models are contained in a single .blend file with all textures/images/materials packed inside.  To use either one in your scene, you can easily append it.  The model components are all parented to a master Empty Item represented by a large labeled axis. You can move or rotate the Empty to adjust the location and orientation of the model(s).

Technical:

The Antique Floor Globes were modeled in Blender 3.2 and they use PBR shaders with some procedural adjustment to color
