Wheelie Bin
Information
To render an example, simply open wheeliebin001.blend an press F12.
The wheeliebin objects are approximately 18k tris.
The ones with the .no_interior suffix are approx. 16k tris (but have no modelled interior)
The materials render in Cycles and in Eevee and come in two variants: The objects with names ending in _4k come with a full complement of 4k PBR texture maps, and those with names ending in _proc are mostly procedural (but refer to a single normal map; in the featured image/example scene, the two on the left are procedural)
Organization
To append either the textured or the procedural version of the wastebin, it is easiest to append the appropriate Collection:
- File -> Append ...
- browse to wheeliebin001.blend
- go to the Objects
- select one of
- WheelieBin_blue_4k
- WheelieBin_blue_logo_4k
- WheelieBin_blue_proc_4k
- WheelieBin_blue_sticker_4k
- WheelieBin_green_4k
- WheelieBin_green_logo_4k
- WheelieBin_green_proc_4k
- WheelieBin_green_sticker_4k
- WheelieBin_blue_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_blue_logo_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_blue_proc_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_blue_sticker_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_green_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_green_logo_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_green_proc_4k.no_interior
- WheelieBin_green_sticker_4k.no_interior
Or if you like you can append the collections in one go:
File -> Append -> Collection -> Wheeliebins | Wheeliebins.no_interior
The models come with preconfigured green and blue variants but both the procedural and the PBR materials have an exposed hue/saturation/value node so that you can easily change it to another color.
Additional content
The file wheeliebin001.blend also contains the (disabled) collections of the separated low and high poly mesh elements that were used to bake the normal map and create the textures.
These are grouped into the collections WheelieBinLow and WheelieBinHigh.
