      Greetings.
      Sorry about the issue you're having. Can you supply me a .blend file with the object that's causing you trouble?
      From that picture I suspect the issue is a degenerate mesh (non-manifold, duplicate vertices, etc.), although generally even these meshes tend to give reasonable-looking results. I'll have to take a look at it to find out the cause of the problem.

    This function only adds a menu item. The function is already built into the blender.

      Respectfully however I must state that this is not correct. Blender does have the Follow Active Quads operator (hence the "Follow" part in the addon's name) and is part of this addon, but on its own it does not produce the same result as the addon, not without significant manual tweaking (the "Align" part in the addon's name) as explained in the description; simply using the Blender operator will cause it to blindly adjust the UV to the original quad regardless of its shape, which will not result in a rectangular grid (unless the active quad was already a rectangle) and instead cause slanted, non-parallel lines all over the place.

      This addon was born out of personal experience having to repeatedly adjust quads into rectangles for several objects' UVs at a time (think of a garden with lots of planters, or teeth in denture), something that as helpful as Blender's feature is, still requires tedious, repetitive tweaking without the involvement of some other tool such as this one.
