In dinosaur footprint research, accurately measuring the surface areas of track-bearing horizons can be challenging due to their irregular shapes. The Tracksite Surface Calculator Blender add-on is designed to precisely calculate the surface area and perimeter of these surfaces. Users create polygons by extruding vertices to trace the perimeter of the track surface.

Additionally, the Footprint Counter is useful for tracksites with hundreds and thousands of fossil footprints, to ease keeping track of them. This tool simplifies the process by using vertices that are placed on footprints to efficiently count them.
