Introduction

The Generator's Lab is a content pack for the BY-GEN addon, providing you with a range of experimental parametric effects to play with in Blender.

MAC USERS: You will need to download at least version 9.1.1 of the BY-GEN addon as this contains a Mac-specific fix relating to directories. MacOS may create hidden files inside of the content pack and this was causing problems for some users. It has also been reported that Mac may hide the library folder for some users. Installation

As well as the information below, this wiki page will describe the installation procedure for BY-GEN content packs.
The content pack is compatible with version 9.1 of BY-GEN and above (9.1.1 on Mac).
This package will contain a zip file containing the 'Generator's Lab' content pack folder.
You must extract that folder from the zip file and place it into the addon's content pack directory, like so:

After installing the content pack, it will be accessible from inside the BY-GEN interface, through the drop-down menus above the different effect browsers. Note: Not all content packs will include content for every type of effect. E.g. Some may only contain parametric or surface effects and will therefore only be selectable under those categories.
