A proximity deformation setup in Geometry Nodes, applicable to any custom mesh

A custom deformer "traces" into the base mesh by proximity, with adjustable parameters. Here the proximity is driven by audio, but it can be any value or manual keyframes.

It comes with the full setup, labels and explanations.

The setup is only one example of using this node tree, you can utilize it for your own vision. In this example, the carve object is moved by audio. It can be replaced by your own keyframes or animation.
