What is Mia?
A good base model is a great way to start of a new character model, be it for a cinematic, a game project or a personal project. Mia will set you up with all the basic's ready and done for you. You can modify and rig the model to fit your needs and speed up your next project.
Why is Mia?
Many look for a base model not to just sculpt of from like my earlier models, some simply want a model ready to play with. This model is made with that intend, you can still use it as a sculpt base but also for practicing rigging, adapt it for your game or simply study it to improve your own skills.
How is Mia?
Mia comes in two package types, a standard package which is more streamlined and compact, and then there is the ultimate package which contains not just the normal package but also higher res textures, more subdivision levels on the main mesh for those who want more then just the basics, this version will be great for those looking for a high detail model to bake onto a lowpoly game model.

The Mia Standard Package
The standard package contains a total of 5 meshes:
- Body Mesh
- Mouth Mesh
- Eye Mesh
- Eyebrow Mesh [no UV]
- Eyelash Mesh [no UV]
The main Body Mesh contains a multires modifier with a single sub level:
The Mouth Mesh contains a multires modifier with also a single sub level:
As regards to the UV layouts, the body mesh is divided into 4 UDIM's while the eye and mouth meshes have a single UV.
Each material has the following 5 textures (with the exception of the eye material which has an additional Alpha Map):
- Basecolor Map
- Specular Map
- Roughness Map
- Normal Map
- SubSurface Scattering Map
Mia is made to work straight out of the box in both Eevee and Cycles and it's very easy to port over to any PBR renderer or game engine.
The Mia Ultimate Package
The Ultimate package contains also a total of 5 meshes (* there are 2 additional meshes with the underwear version):
- Body Mesh
- Mouth Mesh
- Eye Mesh
- Eyebrow Mesh [no UV]
- Eyelash Mesh [no UV]
- Underwear Mesh*
- Clip Mesh*
The main Body Mesh contains a multires modifier with 4 sub levels:
The Mouth Model contains a multires modifier with 3 sub levels:
As for the textures, the ultimate package has double or quadruple the resolution of textures in comparison to the standard package, UV layout remains the same:
- 8192x8192 Body Textures (4096x4096 for face)
- 4096x4096 Mouth Textures
- 4096x4096 Eye Textures
- 2048x2048 Underwear Textures
This version of the base model will also work straight out of the box, however due to the fact it requires way more memory it will take longer in compiling the shader and might add lag to your project. If your system lacks the required memory the blend file may crash when trying to render, if this happens you might need to lower the subdivision level or scale down some textures.
