Unfortunately not, this is optimised for Cycles X only, and was made in mind for Blender 3.0 and above. The HDRi however can work in both Cycles and Eevee.

Yes, all the smoke simulations in the .blend file are working. However, the HDRi version doesn't have animated smoke sims.
