Shino has become an indispensable tool for my Blender projects, and I believe every Blender artist should have it. I’m surprised that I haven’t seen any reviews on this amazing addon. Let me just say that I have well over 25 addons and this is easily one of my favorites. Its main feature is version control which allows you to save new versions of your work while leaving comments, handy for tracking changes or making notes for future reference. If a mistake was made or you need to go back to a previous version, the process is very easy, as you can view all your comments for each version and restore the one you need. I think what makes this addon so good is its simplicity. It’s a very simple interface but has very powerful features. Version control isn’t all that it can do though. Shino takes things a step further and simplifies project organization for props, environments, characters and shots. I can’t tell you how much easier things have been to manage when all my props, characters, environments and scenes are right there, ready for me to link, append, or quickly open to update an asset. It’s also great for quickly planning out your assets, as you basked create a task list that is easily turned into a trackable asset. Simple add all your todos and change the status to either a work in progress or complete. This is fantastic as you can easily see what you need to work on, what you’re currently working on and what is completed. You can also make notes for each asset you create which can serve as reminders on client feedback or updates. Another big plus for me is the ability to share my Shino projects between other computers. While I don’t think it was really meant for this, the feature to consolidate all your textures to one folder makes this possible. Another big feature for me is tracking project costs. You set an hourly rate and it calculates the total for each asset you work on as well as a grand total. This is really helpful for me as I always feel that I don’t know what to charge a client. Now I can get a pretty good idea with this feature and start charging accordingly. Shino is well worth the money, an excellent tool that no Blender artist should be without, and a true game-changer for creative workflow and organization.

This is a great add-on, I love it. Trying to keep track of multiple saved versions of my Blend files has always been a gigantic pain and Shino is exactly what I was looking for. Very nice interface and is easy to use and understand. Great work!

Really great addon - as a freelancer working on fairly small projects, a really simple project manager addon like this is really brilliant. It keeps me organised, and means less time searching for files, as I'm very messy :)

Hi, this is great addon. I noticed it won't work with blender 3.0, 3.0.1 but it works in 3.1.0 beta.
Please check your last update v101 because it generates error when trying to install. If I install It after 100 it works ok but next time opening blender it doesnt work again. Thanks!
