Why Did I Develop This Tool? 💡
The inspiration for developing STG comes from JSplacement, which has been taken down by its author, and textures generated by JSplacement cannot be sold.
Therefore, I developed this tool. STG meets the need for a more customizable and accessible sci-fi texture generator, providing artists with a powerful solution.
License
All textures you generate belong to you. You can use them in commercial and non-commercial works, or anywhere you want, even sell the exported texture images, without any restrictions. ✅
Note: You cannot redistribute or sell the STG Blender project files.
Important Notice
- Supports Blender versions 3.4 to 4.2.
- Blender 4.2 may have some parameter differences compared to earlier versions. For example, the Density (Mode1) parameter in 4.2 might need to be set 3x higher than in other versions to achieve similar density. Overall functionality remains consistent across versions.
