It works well but I'm really hoping they update it to work with 4.0

We have a good news, the new release is available, you can download it. We also managed to fix the bug that only occured once in two years, and was difficult to find it. We hope you enjoy the new add-on.

I believe this add-on may be completely bugged or out of date. Time estimation continues to rise constantly as you render out your animation and does not match up with my calculation whatsoever (calculating that a 10-hour render will take 20+ days and so on.)

I'm using Blender 4.0.2 with the Cycles render engine and the "rendertime.py" file if that helps with troubleshooting at all. I don't mean to rate this so harshly, but since this is a paid add-on, I feel that I should have this up.

Dear Tucker, thank you for your feedback. We did not test the addon with version 4.0.2 yet. In the addon details we specified that the highest compatible version is 3.6. It may be high time to verify and update it, till then please consider using blender 3.6. zym

Not sure Im loving it. Single frame renders say it will take for eg 27 days to render when they really only take a half hour or so. Not sure why this is happening, is it a bug?

Hi Jayden, no it is not a bug, based on the first rendered frame it can estimate the remaining render time, however we are working on a new version that will show different information during the first frame. Try the latest release, it is worth installing.

Love this add-on! Well worth the price for me, saves me from whipping out a calculator every time I have a long animation render. Super useful.
One suggestion, it does not seem to work with "Render region." The estimated finish time just gets longer and longer, even though frames are being created. Also, the longest/shortest/average never update with results in this case. I imagine the script is just not counting a region render as completed, so it thinks the entire render time is being spent on one frame.

Hi Joe, thank you for the positive feedback. You may have caught a bug, however, we could not regenerate it, can you write which version of blender and addon you use? And the steps you make the problem occur? thank you for your help. Happy blending! zym

This is a really useful tool for animation rendering. So far I had to calculate or estimate the times myself. It is self-explanatory and easy to use.
The tip in the add-on to split the project or use multiple computers is funny. A render farm does it too. Unfortunately I don't own any :)
Works fine with Blender v3.1.2 (Cycles).

Great addon! I can confirm that it works like it should with the latest Blender 3.1 with Cycles and Eevee. Great improvement of Blender's usability. Must-have for animators.

It's the best thing I've bought this year. It saves me time by letting me know just how long I have to wait for my computer to stop acting up during renders. It even shows statistics like the longest time it takes to render a frame (and what frame takes the longest!), average frame render time and more. My favorite aspect is that it tells you when your render should be done. It's more than worth the investment IMO, and certainly a gem of a tool.

Works fantastic. Thank you very much. The time estimate is located on the window that is doing the rendering (which is great) and not on the main Blender window.

Really useful addon! The estimated time is very accurate and you can plan your time perfectly.
Before buying this addon, keep in mind that the topbar display doesn't work in newer Blender versions (I'm using 2.9.3), but the dev told me that they're working on it.
For me it's enough to see the time in the N-panel in the image editor window while rendering. I totally recommend this awesome addon!
