What is this?

Render Active Node as it name implies allows you to automate rendering tasks, by using node selection. I personally use this addon to render decals and trim sheets.

The addon uses the Active camera to render the scene, using whatever node inputs/outputs are in the active node.

By default the output sockets will be rendered
