it's nice and a fast way to add a material to an object, but a big part of them look not really usable to me. like they needed more tweaking to actually look good and not that obviously like a procedural material. And i feel like some essential materials are still missing

Absolutely brilliant add on! Just used it for some commercial work and genuinely couldn't be happier with the results! Been following Ducky3D on YT for years so glad I can pay him back at least a little by purchasing this. 10/10

There's lots of great ideas in there, but not all materials are ready to use with drag-and-drop. The default settings can be way too extreme, most controls are lazily labelled so you don't understand what they do (like just "shape" twice). Important controls are often missing, like normal intensity or noise position (to move position rust or damage on your object without UVs). You can add extra controls manually, but the node network is pretty messy (no reroutes) and undocumented (no frames, no node renames). There is no displacement, only normals, though it's not that hard to add. It's even supported in Eevee Next... It took me days to render high-res previews, add controls, relabel settings.

Hey man I appreciate you giving constructive feedback! I have written all these notes down in my development notes for future updates.

I do want to note about the displacement. I would absolutely love to add displacement to the materials, but right that it is not possible in eevee, and Eevee Next is not officially available yet. once it is, all relevant materials will be switched to have displacement. My goal is that all the materials look and behave the same in eevee and cycles so people with slower computers can enjoy the materials as well.

Other than that I appreciate the feedback and if you have any more notes pleas message me here on blender market!

Getting this is a no-brainer really. It's like getting your own personal little Ducky in your setup.

It's ridiculous how good this addon is. I bought it to support Ducky for making awesome YT videos, but now that I've tried it, I uninstalled my other material addons and keeping only this.
    Fantastic work Ducky.
