  This is just a simple random plating generator with some advanced basic features. Really "advanced" would be different. Here is the reason why:

  - No Offset / Manifold (for defining the base height of the plates)
  - Tubes are totally random, don't make sense. Also, there is no option to remove the geometry behind a surface.
  - No border distance(s), you need to manually generate additional geometry
  - no possiblilites to create isles of plates / greebles, known from terrain spawners which create natural / logical distributions for objects

  This is just my first impression. I know, that most of that stuff can be done by hand. But, I thought this is a generator, which wants to generate it automatically - it doesn't. So, it works. But it is far from being perfect and complete. For a simple generator it is complete. But that is not enough, in my opinion.

  One star for the simplicity.
  One additional star for the clean product (easy setup, good manual).

  Could have given 3 stars, but there are too much 5 star ratings.

  I hope my recommondation will reach the artist / developer for possible improvements!

  Works as expected and produces much more controllable results than available from other similar products. The layers feature is very nice and altogether makes adding detail to models very easy.

  Works as advertised and the results are great, as is the customer support. I asked a stupid question and got a quick polite answer with a GIF showing me exactly what I needed to do.

  This is a sweet add-on. I wish I'd had something like this years ago.

  The sheer amount of time you save with it is incredible. It's stupidly easy to create great plating effects with almost no effort and once you delve a bit deeper, the sky is the limit.

  The non-destructive approach is the icing on the cake. It's a total no brainer to give this five stars. A big thumbs up from me.

  Incredible useful and great add-on, I really love experimenting with it. It is easily one of the best add-ons for sci-fi stuff in my opinion. A must have for everyone who does sci-fi related modeling.
  And even after many years it is still updated on a regular basis and receives free updates with many new features, not just minor fixes. Version 2.0 looks rad :-)

  I completely forgot to rate and comment on this addon, it is a fantastic tool!

  I am not much of a hard surface modeler but this makes things a snap, I use this to make sci-fi suits for some of my avatars it works fantastic for this

  Mark, you Sir are complete genius, the fast support and simple solutions are excellent!
