The most memory is taking the foliage and especially the trees. In the link folder is prepared the second option, where are the same models only with lowered display setting. You can relocate the library file and it should be working fast on every computer. 

Is it possible to get a demo / sample of one wall somewhere for testing?

Yes it is. Blendermarket has 3 walls with no surrounding scene as a test sample.
