Octopus Base Mesh
Detailed octopus base mesh, prepped for texturing and animating. Available in high and low poly versions, with or without rigging.
Highpoly vertices: 762,440 // Lowpoly vertices: 47,681
Both varieties have clean topology and are UV unwrapped with non-overlapping islands. They share the same UV layout, so any textures you create for one version will work when applied to the other!
The lowpoly version is designed to work with subdivision, so it is ideal for use as a game asset.
RIGGING:
The armature contains 148 bones: 18 per tentacle and 4 in the face and head. In addition to the bone groups, other parts of the body are assigned into vertex groups for easy access.
