- Access Object Disperser Panel: In the 3D Viewport, locate the Tool Shelf by pressing the "N" key. Under the "Object" tab, you will find the "Object Disperser" panel.
2. Source and Disperse Objects
- Select Source Object: Choose the object from which you want to disperse other objects by clicking on the "Source Object" dropdown menu in the Object Disperser panel.
- Select Disperse Object: Similarly, select the object you want to disperse from the "Disperse Object" dropdown menu.
3. Set Dispersal Parameters
- Number of Instances: Adjust the number of instances you want to disperse from the source object.
- Dispersion Range: Set the range within which the dispersed objects will be scattered.
- Animation Frames: Specify the number of frames for the dispersal animation.
4. Customize Rotation and Scale
- Random Rotation: Toggle this option to apply random rotations to dispersed objects.
- Rotation Speed: If random rotation is enabled, set the speed of rotation animation in radians per frame.
- Rotation Axis: Choose the axis around which the dispersed objects will rotate (X, Y, or Z).
- Scale Range: Define the minimum and maximum scale factors for dispersed objects.
5. Disperse Objects
- Click Disperse Button: Once all parameters are set, click the "Disperse" button to scatter the objects according to the defined settings.
Examples
1. Fireworks Simulation
Simulate fireworks by dispersing particle-like objects from a central source, adjusting dispersion range and animation frames for lifelike bursts of color.
2. Blood Splatter Effect
Create gruesome blood splatters by dispersing droplet objects from impact points, controlling dispersion range and scale to achieve realistic spatter patterns.
3. Bullet Hit Debris
Generate dynamic bullet-hit scenes by dispersing debris objects from collision points, fine-tuning rotation and randomization for convincing impact effects.
Conclusion
Congratulations! You've learned how to use the Object Disperser addon in Blender to scatter objects efficiently and creatively in your projects. Experiment with different settings and unleash your imagination to bring your scenes to life!
