🚀 Getting Started

  1. Download the .zip file containing the addon.
  2. Open Blender and navigate to:
    Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install.
  3. Locate the .zip file and click Install.
  4. Activate the addon by ticking the checkbox next to it.
  5. Press CTRL + A and select Import > Mesh Plane.
  6. Select the plane, then Right-Click to open the Object Context Menu.
  7. Choose Mesh Plane (_____) and voilà! 🎉
  8. Go to the Shader Editor and adjust the sliders according to your image needs.
    • For PNGs with alpha channels, enable the "Turn on Alpha" option to use the built-in transparency.

🟠 Node Setup

  1. Image - Connect the image texture to this node.
  2. Alpha - Connect the alpha channel if available.
  3. Turn on Alpha - Activate this node if the image already contains transparency.

🟢 Mask Settings

  1. Color or Black & White Background
    • Unchecked for Color background.
    • Checked for Black & White background.
  2. Invert (Input Image) - Flips the colors of the input image.
  3. Invert (Mask Mode) - Highlights the masked area for easy identification.
  4. Color Black Slider - Fine-tune the dark regions of the image.
  5. Color White Slider - Fine-tune the bright regions of the image.

🔵 BSDF Settings

  1. Mix Color Factor - Adjust how much the color slider influences the image.
  2. Change Color - Modify the hue of your image.
  3. Roughness - Control the surface roughness.
  4. Metallic - Add metallic sheen to the surface.

🟣 Normal Settings

  1. Normal - Plug in an existing normal map or generate a new one.
  2. Fake Normals - Generate fake normals based on the image texture.
  3. Normal Finetune - Adjust the strength and detail of the fake normals.
  4. Bump Strength - Increase or decrease the bumpiness of the surface.
  5. Invert Normal - Flip the direction of the normals for specific effects.

🔴 Emission Settings

  1. Emission Strength - Control the brightness of the emission.
  2. Turn on HDR - Enable the experimental HDR feature.
  3. HDR Emission Strength - Fine-tune the HDR intensity.
  4. Dark Values - Adjust how bright the dark areas should emit light.
  5. Bright Values - Control the brightness of the lighter regions.
  • Full control with advanced BSDF settings—adjust Roughness, Normal, Fake Normals, Emission, and even experimental HDR Emission.
