Melter
"This tool can melt any object with ease"
Features (New 2.0):
-
Versatile Melting:
Effortlessly melt objects with advanced self-collision capabilities.
-
Collision Modes:
Choose from four collision modes: Self Normal, Self Velocity, Self Proximity, Self Curvature, External Mesh, and Ground.
-
Temperatures:
Easily define the room and melting temperature.
-
Rates (New):
Three rates are available: Melting, Cooling, and Heat Spread.
Each rate can be controlled using Noise or a Custom Mask.
-
Normal Force (New):
Shrink or inflate the object while melting with a normal-based force e.g., baking bread.
-
Smooth Channel Operations:
Perform smooth operations on various channels, including Collisions, Mesh, Velocity, and Temperature.
Bake
The Blender 3.6 (or higher) has the baking feature for the Simulation Nodes of the Geometry Nodes. To bake: Select the Object having the simulation nodes -> Physics Tab -> Simulation Nodes (Bottom) -> Press Bake. It will bake and store the cache next to the project file.

Use:
- You can use this as an asset by assigning the Melter folder as an Asset Library in the Blender Preferences.
- Before applying the Melter modifier, make sure to enable the "Data Tab -> Shape Key -> Rest Position" attribute for the respective Object.
