Martian Environment (Blender Tutorial Series)
In this seven part Blender tutorial series, I will show you step by step how to create this Martian Environment artwork. First, we will be creating some pebbles and small rocks. Then we will create some medium sized rocks and some large boulders. Then we will setup the landscape, and do some lighting and texturing. Then we will be using Blender’s particle system to add the rocks onto the martian landscape. Then we will be creating four different parts of the martian base. The main module, with and without windows, the tunnels, and the airlock. Then in the last part, we will setup the martian base, do some render settings, render the image, and then do some compositing in Blenders compositor, to finish off the final image.
The entire course contains a total of 4 hours and 4 minutes of video tutorials.
This tutorial is done completely in Blender. You will not need any other software.
All of the textures we will use in the tutorial will be provided in the product files.
Basic knowledge of Blender is recommended. This tutorial is created for beginner and intermediate users, but it is not designed for absolute beginners. As long as you know just the basic things about Blender, then you can totally follow this tutorial. I will be showing you the entire process, step by step, in real time.
We will be using the Cycles rendering Engine in Blender to create this artwork, so using Cycles is Recommended.
I hope you enjoy the course and learn a lot from it!
