Manumetal - Easy And Simple Tiled 8K/4K Blender Metal Shader + Nodes
I got annoyed that fast googling didn't get me a nice and cheap high quality simple metal shader.
So I made one with a bunch of Musgrave and other nodes and baked them into Diffuse, Normal and optional Displacement/Bump images. I recommend to just use the shader that has the images loaded in and not fiddle setting up the images one by one.
Choose either 4K or 8K resolution texture maps shader.
The maps are tied to UVs by default. That's because of possible shapekey animations or deformation by rigs. So the UVs of the object should be scaled so that the detail of the texture looks nice. Or use the mapping node for that.
Other way is to tweak the shader to use for example generated or object coordinates.
There are also the nodes for baking the images in the packages for advanced users. (Might be slow to use these as is for the shader purposes)
Cheers!
