  If you plan on using dynamic trails in your game and you're animating in Blender, having real time trails within Blender is essential. You can do what this plugin does through some online tutorials, but this serves as a far easier and more convenient way without any of the hassle. Dev was responsive and answered a question quickly, so no complaints there either.

  This is a handy little plugin for mesh trails and does a good job of it. There is a small range of styles to choose from but it's easy enough to add your own materials, and the interface is easy to navigate. A couple of suggestions for improvement: it would be good if you could select objects to add the trails to and have them generated and parented at once- currently you have to generate one trail at a time and manually align and parent it to your target mesh. Also it would be better if you could bake all your trails at once instead of having to do one at a time. But still, good value for what it does.
