This is the Lock View to Active Object addon for Blender 2.8 and further releases. A handy navigating tool for an effective 3D workflow.
WHY DO I NEED THIS?
This addon will make your 3D life a bit easier. With the addon activated, the 3D view will always track the active object, as soon as the active object changes. The new "Always Lock" option makes it possible to lock the view even when the object is moved or animated. This will save you a lot of time navigating the 3D world and enables a fast workflow. The addon uses the center of the bounding box of the object - rather than the origin - which ensures the view is always focused on the actual geometry you're working on.
