The best addon I have ever bought. I hope it will be implemented more and more (for example with the possibility to put in "solo" lights in the scene. A BRAVO! to the developer

Thank you very much MoToRola :)!
Its awesome to hear your enthusiasm about the addon.
There will be features like "solo" light, "duplicate active" light and others in the not too distant future - stay tuned :)

Dear lord! What an amazing tool for lighting. This is one of those essential add-ons. It sped up my lighting unbelievably, and the UI feels so natural.

I had a few things I was about to comment on.....and then all of a sudden the dev had already listened to feedback and published a fix for all of them. Can't wait to see where you take this.

This really makes me not hate lighting. Really, really love it!
And eight tentacles up for the "hold input keys…"-option :)

But I also got two "problems":

    1. I'm on a Mac with a 5k Studio Display and the UI text is really tiny. Half the size compared to the youtube videos.
Not a dealbreaker at all, just wanted to mention it.

    2. When spawning the first light in a scene i get this error message. Everything seems to work fine, but you might want to know:
Python script uses OpenGL for drawing
This may lead to unexpected behavior
One of the add-ons or scripts is using OpenGL and will not work correct on Metal
Please contact the developer of the add-on to migrate to use 'gpu' module
    /Users/xxxxx/Library/Application Support/Blender/3.5/scripts/addons/LightControl.py:1232
See system tab in preferences to switch to OpenGL backend

    Thank you sooooo much! :)

Thank you so much Bob for the kind words and reporting the issues :-)!
I am planning on only using the gpu module for graphics in an updated version, then this should be an issue anymore.
Regarding the scaling of the UI, i implemented a slider in the addon preferences for scaling the ui which i havent exposed yet, thank you alot for reminding me to implement it in the next update :-)

It's add-ons like these that I love. Speeding up workflow. Very easy to use. Lots of control with your lights, allowing for lots of experimentation. You'll be come an absolute master at lighting your subject! Highly recommend this add-on. I think this add-on is presented very professionally, so you know exactly what you're getting.

Amazing addon. Highly intuitive with a slick UI and controls. Appreciate it very much. Would like to suggest two options if possible:

-A duplicate light command. That way I don't have to leave light edit mode if I want to add an extra light.
-A hide light option. While in edit light mode, a quick way to temporarily hide a light.

      Hi Kerillians :),
I'm glad you enjoy it. Thank you very much!

Hiding/showing and duplicating the light are very interesting feature requests. I will add them to my roadmap and consider them developing the addon further.

For the part of creating lights within light edit mode, there might already be a solution for that, it is the "Show Advanced UI" checkbox in the Light Control preferences.

Thank you alot for taking your time to write a review and give feedback.

      Best regards
      Malte
