Kit Ops - Landscape Kpack
This is an issue with blender and displacement maps, because the mesh is being tessellated sometimes it wraps around itself causing these black areas. The work around is to change the material setting to Displacement only, and if it still persists also disable the normal map in extreme cases. This shouldn't cause too much issue in the render however as the mesh has shadow casting and you will still get good detail.
-Set it to Displacement only (You need to be in Cycles Renderer)
-Remove the normal map if the issue still is visible after Displacement only
Unzip the file with your other kPacks and Blender with KitOps Pro 2 installed will pick it up. Below is a sample of how to unzip it in your folder structure. Keep in mind that this is my personal folder structure, yours may differ depending on how you have setup Kit+Ops.
Absolutely, I run HardOps on my setup in Blender
If you want more detail add a Subdivision Subsurface modifier and crank up the values however I left this modifier out for performance reason.
You will need a Blender version that is compatible with KitOps Pro 2 / Free that can be found on Chip Walters website https://www.kit-ops.com/
