Holes On Mesh
Holes On Mesh is designed to quickly create holes on faces using geometry node modifiers and tools.
Typically, creating holes in geometry is achieved using Boolean functions or other methods not specifically intended for this purpose. If the mesh is not flat, it becomes even more difficult to create holes using Boolean operations. This tool is designed to streamline this process, making it more convenient with new functionality.
You can create holes by adding a modifier(non-destructive) or using a node-based tool(destructive). Holes can be created within the face itself. In the future, I plan to add other sampling methods, such as vertex and face island-based hole creation.
Features
- Use your custom geometry to create holes
- Adjust the hole scale to fit the inside of the face.
- Transform(move, rotate, scale) holes to create unusual shapes
- Primitive curves as hole geometry: circle, quadrilateral (can change bevel and other parameters)
