  I purchased this plugin after much anguish about spending $69 dollars for a plugin. After trying to create the same thing myself I gave up. It is possible but not worth the time when this developer has a very well-thought-out plugin that works exceptionally well. Even if he didn't supply the additional hdris I would have still bought this, there is so much in it already.

  At the moment I am using my own hdris in Hdri Maker 2, and they work quite well but he has supplied enough that I see using some of his hdris in my project in time. I have no trouble with 8k hdris and I don't have the fastest computer. Another thing, how many developers give this many videos and a well done help file to help using their program. Some do but not many. To repeat: this program is well worth $69 dollars. I think I will check the developers other plugins.

  This is a great add-on and the support is excellent. There were a couple of bugs I discovered, and Andrew fixed them right away. The add-on saves a lot of time setting up HDRI projection, and the sun alignment is an excellent and convenient feature.

  Great addon that puts all of the needed HDRI tools in one location! plus quite a lot of additional features and tools. This makes it extremely easy to add HDRIs (and you do not only need to use the ones supplied which are many and useful) but control them!
  The additional dome projection and ground is very handy, and you can generate your own HDRI with little effort.

  Best of all if you have any issues the creator is very quick in responding and dealing with problems.

  I will say the same here as I will my review of Extreme PBR Nexus.. in short, these are incredibly useful add-ons created by a very talented, extremely helpful, developer that even a total novice like myself is capable of using because Andrew has built them to not only be very powerful, but also very easy to understand.

  And if the usefulness and amazing customer service weren't already enough, seriously.. you're simply not going to find this number of HDRi maps in ONE add-on or collection. Can you sit there and download individual free HDRis until you have the same number of them this plugin includes?? Yeah... but 1.. that's going to be a very time consuming undertaking. 2.. you're going to miss out on the amazing user interface and sorting you get with this, and most importantly.. 3.. The ability to add shadow and reflection catchers, blend existing geometry with the HDRi maps, and a lot of other things are easily obtainable with just a few clicks..

  I think it speaks volumes about the talent of a developer to not only make such a useful and powerful add-on, but to take that add-on and make it user friendly even for someone like me first getting started, says so much more. And he made time for ALL of my questions I was asking before I'd even purchased the add-ons..

  If you're on the fence asking whether or not you'll actually find this add-on useful.. yes.. you will.. I think beginners such as myself, and experts, can save a lot of time while still getting amazing results.

  This addon is one of the best. I didnt know how to add my own HDRI's, sent a message and within the hour I had a response with link of how to do this. AWESOME!. Thankyou so much, keep up the great work :-)

  Before I begin this review, you may want to understand why this add-on is really great for me. Back in Jan 2019 I had a major stroke. I lost all my freelance clients and can no longer work. I have neuropathy in my hands so I look for add-ons that will drastically cut back on my hand/mouse use. I currently can only use a basic drawing tablet (no screen). So, now I only do Blender as a hobby; anyways (to shorten the story).

  HDRI-M is one incredible add-on for what it does. If you were to try and do this by hand in vanilla blender, it would take you a little while. But with this add-on I can quickly add a REAL *.hdr (not just a jpg/png) file into my scene from over 400 different hdri files. But, what is incredible is that it projects it onto a dome and the ground of the hdri is at location 0,0 in the x/y axis of the viewport. So this makes it incredibly easy to add objects to the proper perspective without having to try and figure out the 3d space or using a separate program like fspy to just add your model on the ground properly. Incredible!!

  What I love about this add-on…

  • Choice of 1,2,4,8k of hdri size
  • 400+ REAL hdri files, not “dumbed-down” jpgs or pngs that lose color data.
  • Automatic dome projection with proper ground plan from hdri
  • Sync the sun with the hdri… to get proper lighting
  • Sun catcher for both Cycles and Eveee!
  • Deform the ground easily using primitives on the hdri texture already in the scene.
  • Water plane with effects/reflections (and use as sun catcher too)
  • Create your own HDRI (*.hdr) files from within Blender, using 3D Model setup you design
  • Add and remove your own hdri files.
  • Plenty of settings for the sun, scene exposure, rotating hdri etc. etc.

  There is more I can add to this, but time won’t allow it. I also own Extreme PBR, and so, with EPBR and HDRI-M together, these two add-ons are on the top of my list as my best add-ons. Andrew has put a lot of thought into this and it is well worth the money. What a difference, not only on my hands/mouse-use, but also time-wise. What a super time saver! You need to get this!!
