Flower Generator
How to use
- Add this blend file to your Asset Library. If you don't have one yet, create a folder and set it as your Asset Library in the Blender settings.
- In your project file, simply drag and drop the Flower Generator asset into your scene.
- In the Modifiers panel you will find a Geometry Nodes modifier with all available generator settings, including color settings for convenience. These color settings are transferred to the materials via Attributes.
Parameter Settings
- Rand Seed: the seed influencing the petal, stem and stamen growth pattern
- Center Radius: Size of the central part of the flower
- Center Color: Color of the central part, bleeds into the lower petal area
- Petal Size: Average size of each petal
- Petal Density: Changes the density of petal growth
- Petal Center Density; Changes how far the petals grow into the center; can be used to create double flowers
- Petal Rot Rand: Random Rotation for each petal along x-, y- and z-Axis
- Petal Scale Rand: Random Scaling for each petal
- Petal Tilt: Changes the upwards or downwards tilt of all petals
- Petal Shape: Changes the bezier curve shape of each petal, resulting in an S-shape or inverse S-shape
- Petal Width: Width of each petal
- Petal Color: Color of the petals
- Petal Stripe: Boolean; enable or disable additional stripe texture on each petal
- Petal Stripe Color: Color of the petal stripes, if enabled
- Petal Stripe Shape: Change position of the random stripe texture to achieve differnt patterns
- Poisson Distribution: Boolean; Alternative petal distribution, resulting in less stacked petals
- Poisson Density: Density of the poisson distribution
- Stamen Distance: Distance between individual stamens in the center
- Stamen Size: Size of each stamen
- Stem Length: Overall length of the stem (and flower)
- Stem Size: Thickness of the stem
- Stem Bend: influence of a noise pattern on the stem
- Stem Color: Color of the Stem
- Sepal Count: Count of the sepals on the bottom of the flower
- Sepal Bend: Change the rotation of the sepals
- Hair enabled: Boolean; enable or disable growth of fine hair on the stem
Notes
- The applied materials can be treated as placeholders and replaced with custom materials if needed
