Forest Master - Deciduous
Set Up the Asset Library
To set up the asset library,
go to Edit -> Preference -> File Paths,
click the "+" icon under Asset Libraries,
select the file path where you extracted the “ForestMaster_Deciduous_V_1.0.rar” file,
click on Add Asset Library.
Now you can go to the asset browser and select the "ForestMaster_Deciduous" Library, where you can find the “Geometry Nodes Assets” Folder containing a preset ForestCurve wich you can drag into your scene and adjust to your liking.
Forest Settings
The settings for the geometry nodes setup are in the Modifier Properties of the ForestCurve.
Ground Object - All trees automatically stick to the surface of the Ground Object
🎲 Seed - Random Seed, for quick variations
⤑ Range Factor - Controls how far the trees spread out from the curve
❉ Tree Density - Controls the amount of Trees
🖵 ❉ VIEWPORT Density Factor - Controls the amount of trees that are visible in the viewport. This can make it easier to work with many trees in the viewport (Has no effect on the rendered image)
🖵 Viewport Proxy - Show light geometry like cones and cubes instead of trees in the viewport. This also makes it easier to work with many trees in the viewport (Has no effect on the rendered image)
∡ Random Tilt - Rotates trees randomly
⬍ Scale Variation - Scales trees randomly

🌱⤑ Small Trees Range - Controls how far small trees spread out from the curve
🌱❉ Small Trees Density - Controls the amount of small trees
🌱⇔ Min Space Small Trees - Minimum space between small trees
🌳 Medium Trees Settings 🌳
🌳 Medium Tree Collection - The collection of medium trees to scatter
🌳⤑ Medium Tree Range - Controls how far medium trees spread out from the curve
🌳❉ Medium Trees Density - Controls the amount of medium trees
🌳⇔ Min Space Medium Trees - Minimum space between medium trees
🌲 Big Trees Settings 🌲
🌲 Big Tree Collection - The collection of big trees to scatter
🌲⤑ Big Trees Range - Controls how far big trees spread out from the curve
🌲❉ Big Trees Density - Controls the amount of big trees
🌲⇔ Min Space Big Trees - Minimum space between big trees
❌ Tree Remover Settings ❌
❌ Remover Collection - The collection of objects that act as Tree Removers. Also works with curves! (Useful for creating paths / fine-tuning appearance)
❌⤑ Remover Range - Controls how far from the edges of the Tree Remover the trees should be removed
(I added the icons because a visual cue gives me more orientation in the settings, i hope it does for you too!)
Draw Forests
To Draw a new Forest Curve:
you can select the appended ForestCurve object, go to Edit Mode,
delete all Vertices by pressing A -> X -> V,
then select the Draw Curve Tool and Start Drawing.
To Draw on the Surface of another mesh (like a ground plane), you can activate “Surface”
