  It's nice and easy to add each fog plane: I just started playing with Blender a few months ago and even I could figure it out! You can edit each fog plane to make it perfect for your scene (how opaque it looks, changing the color, noise movement, etc). It's for sure a quick way to add some pizazz to a scene without worrying about your render time skyrocketing (after adding a few I didn't even see a 1 second rise in my per frame render time <3).
