Drag & Drop Import
There could be several issues causing the problem. Please check the following:
Ensure that you are dragging from an external application such as Windows File Explorer.
Observe the cursor style while dragging and take appropriate action based on the following:
a. If the cursor displays a “no entry” sign, it is likely that Blender is running as an administrator. In this case, please run it normally.
b. (before v1.0.2) If the cursor displays Blender’s default drop icon (the middle one in the picture above), and the issue persists even when dependencies are installed, please run blender-launcher.exe from the Blender install folder (C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 3.4) instead of blender.exe. If you have a shortcut on the taskbar, it is recommended to change the shortcut to blender-launcher.exe as the addon may not work for blender.exe.
c. If the cursor displays a “+copy” icon (the first one in the image), everything should be functioning correctly.
