The handling is straight forward:
- Copy the downloaded .blend-file to your asset library
- Update the Asset Browser, if necessary
- Select the "user library" instead of "current file"
- Select the "Materials" -> "Wood"
- Drag and drop the material to the object of choice
- Tweak the material to your needs
