Using the Model
Current Version: Capitone Couch Set V 1.0 (If you have an old version send me a email and I will send to you a current version for free)
Import this model:
To use the model in your scene you just need to open your project, go to Menu File/Append or Link Object and choose the folder where the Couch was downloaded or saved, choose the file, there you choose the folder Object and then you just select what kind of couch you want. The model will appear at the 3D Cursor. You can move, rotate and scale the object in your scene. I recommend you to use link rather than append. Choosing that you will use less memory in your project, but you can't change the couch blend file to another folder, if you choose Append you can move the couch file without any problem, but your project will be heavier.
Moving your model
To set the couch in your scene, after the import process. You can move it selecting the couch object and place it in your surface, like a table, using the pivot point (located in the base).
Change Materials
There are two materials to change the color of the couch.
The first material is for the bigger area of the couch, the second material is just for the top and bottom sides of the sofa seats.
In this example you can see that the White Material was used for the biggest area of the couch, and this material is in the first slot. The second material is Green, it was used to set the colors for some areas as the top and bottom of the seats.
If you want all parts with the same color, you need to change both materials for the same. In this example if you want the couch with a White Color you just need to change de second material to “Fabric – Small white pattern” if you want the couch in Green Color just change the first material to “Fabric – Green Velvet”.
