BlocksurfacesReference is a Blender add-on designed to simplify and speed up the process of preparing reference images before starting 3D modeling in Blender. With this add-on, you can quickly and efficiently set up your references, either by importing images or creating visual references directly in the 3D view using the Grease Pencil tool.

Features:

Position images dragged into 3D space: Drag and drop your images directly into the Blender scene and position them as reference points with a single click, for visual reference in the front and side views.
Create references with Grease Pencil: Draw on the 3D view to generate custom references and adapt them to your specific needs.
Configure opacity and position: Adjust the transparency of the references and their distance from the model to optimize visualization during the modeling process.

Options Panel:

Configure References:

- Active to Front: Determines if the active reference will be assigned as the front or side reference and the other position will be for the other selected reference. Or vice versa, with this option not activated, the active image will go to the side reference position and the other selected one to the front reference position.
- Distance:
- Sets the distance between the eferences and the center of the model.

Opacity:

A.Obj Opacity: Controls the opacity of the highlighted object in relation to the rest.
Front Opacity: Adjusts the opacity of the front reference.
Side Opacity: Adjusts the opacity of the side reference.
Op.Conect: Links the opacity of both references for simultaneous adjustment.

Grease Pencil References:

Draw Reference: Creates a new Grease Pencil object to draw references.
Gp.Mirror: Applies a Mirror modifier to the Grease Pencil object to create symmetry in that Grease Pencil object.
Apply: Confirms the changes of the Mirror modifier.
Op.Background: Sets a preset background color for the rest of the references when you draw a new reference, facilitating the creation of new strokes and cleaner references.
Apply Mirror And Join: Joins the selected object with the active Grease Pencil object into a single one, applying the Mirror modifier and equalizing their opacities if necessary, to build the complete reference for that view.

Show/Hide References:

Shows/hides references by type (image or Grease Pencil) individually.

Lock References:
Prevents accidental modifications to configured references.

Keyboard shortcuts:

Show/hide references: Ctrl+Shift + V

Bloquear/desbloquear references: Grless
