I apologize for the extremely late response—I somehow missed your review until now.
The addon isn't specifically meant for baking PBR textures; instead, it focuses on simplifying node trees by baking certain sections into static images. While you can bake roughness or normal maps by selecting their source nodes, it's not designed for baking directly from the BSDF shader. Additionally, since it uses an emission shader for baking, direct or indirect light sources are not relevant.
