I've wanted something like this for soooo long. It always irked me, that you couldn't even properly assign a focusless shortcut. And the implementation is really well thought out. Thankyou!!
So this solved the accidental 'me messing up my keyframes'. Now would it be possible to extend this addon to pinned viewports? I use the pin a lot and a slightly red shaded Properties Viewport or a red bar at the top of a pinned node editor... Don't know if that is doable.
(cgdive brought me here)

The end of Auto Keying errors has come, Helge. For the pinned viewports, you could send me a message in regards to how it can work, since from what’s been tested it can pop a red text.

Hey, Uanuan, the original button doesn't offer that functionality yet due to strange issues related to how it's been programmed by default. That's why there's the button at the header, which you can see in the showcase video of this addon. You can even see how to assign a hotkey in the Documentation section. If you still have problems or inquiries, just reach out directly!

It's working just the way It's presented.

Coverop, your suggestion for adding an option for the change of the viewport’s background color has also been added, so that more indications can prevent the calamities of default Auto Keying. Thank you for making 'You're Auto Keying' better!
